The Blue River Public Hunting and Fishing Area is located 11 miles northeast of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The cascading meandering waters of the Blue make it a mesmerizing attraction. Fishing is excellent all year long and from November 1 to March 31 is trout season. Trout season attracts anglers from throughout the United States.
